Time for another classic and crowd-favorite: Fritz Coffee.

By now they run 3 different locations, but that doesn’t seem to impact their appeal, since on a Sunday afternoon it was crazy busy at their Dohwa Dong location. The place is at least as much bakery (and a good one) as it is cafe, and provides plenty of space, so even in busy hours you have a fair shot at a seat.

The coffee menu is attractive, but during busy times (so most the time), they leave the dripping of coffee to a machine. A good one, the same as at Cafe Themselves, but it obviously takes away some of the charm.

The barista (busy enough with the espresso machines) assured us the machine is probably better than humans (mostly because it’s expensive, she says), but I’m not fully sold on that.

The coffee was arguably very nice and probably by all means according to the usual standards. Bonus points for the baked goods and really charming interior of the cafe.

Will visit again, but hoping for some human touch next time.
