AP Cafe Bundang – not that far away

Now this took a bit of effort to get to, but was worth it: AP Cafe Yatap South of Seoul, part of the satellite cities around Bundang and Pangyeo.

Google maps:

The area is very residential and it would probably not be very easy to get there without a car. By Korean standards almost rural, anywhere else probably still very much city-feel.

The cafe is located on an unusually wide and open square, making a lot of room for light to find it’s way through the large windows all around.

The place is small, but neatly designed, and with warmer weather it is probably a lovely spot to sit outside, too.

There are a lot of different beans available, too and prices were more than fair:

Pour-over coffee preparation was on point. Dripper and filters were rinsed with hot water and also the Acaįa scale and timer was actually used to ensure consistent quality.

The result was a really pleasant, malty sweet cup of Burundi coffee. We can definitely recommend AP Cafe, so stop by if you’re in the area.
