Across the Bay from Downtown San Francisco we were in need for a decent coffee. We found Bica Coffeehouse.

Early in the morning it was already fairly busy in the cosy corner hangout.

The coffee menu is pretty extensive:

Preparation of the pour wasn’t great. In my opinion the quality of coffee happens by chance.

Filters were not rinsed, no scale, no timer. Not even a carafe that allows measurement of water. This may be a cool look, but that is probably it.

I hope it was just a bad day, so may try again another time.
